Apollo Facility Management Northeast Junior League
Apollo Facility Management Northeast Junior League are hosting a Football Tournament at
Gateshead Redheugh 57 on 13th, 14th & 15th August 2024 for Under 8s, 9s & 10s
U7s & U8s – 5 a side – Max 10 players
U9s & U10s – 7 a side – Max 12 players
All players must be registered at the start of the tournament on the registration form provided. Failure to adhere with this could lead to your team being disqualified from the tournament.
Failure to provide identity may lead to the team or player being disqualified.
No academy players are allowed, any team found to be fielding an academy player, will be disqualified from the event at whatever stage, NO guest players allowed
Any team found guilty of fielding ineligible players will be disqualified from the competition at whatever stage.
League games – 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.
There will be no off sides for U7s – U10s.
Corner kicks shall be taken as normal.
Touchline restarts – U7s-U9s dribble in or pass in, U10s-U18s as normal
At goal kicks the opposition MUST retreat to the half way line U7s – U10s.
Quick goal kicks can be taken before retreat at goalkeeper’s discretion.
All free kicks: the opposing team must be 5 yards away from the ball U7s – U10s.
Goalkeeper can pick up ball from a back pass at U7s & U8s
Back pass rule applies to all other age groups (ball cannot be handled by the Goalkeeper following aback pass)
Substitutions allowed:
- Roll on, roll off substitutions to be made, with the referees permission.
The following rules will decide which team goes forward to the next round:
1. Most points gained
2. Most goals scored for
3. Least goals conceded
4. If still level, a penalty competition will decide final position.
Criteria for, and teams qualifying from group stage will be available from control tent.
Under 7 – 10 : Size 3 ball
Under 11 - 14 : Size 4 ball
Under 15 – 18 : Size 5 ball

Any player booked (yellow card) will miss the next game.
Failure to comply with this rule will result in the team being disqualified.
Any player sent off will NOT play again in this tournament.
All misconduct/discipline will be reported to the relevant County FA as per FA Rules.
All bookings and send offs will be reported by the referee.
Foul and abusive language and/or violence will not be tolerated.
Foul and abusive language and/or violence from spectators and other club officials towards players and/or officials will result in your team being disqualified and reported to the County FA
Should any team pull-out of the competition all previous games will be null and void.
Players can only play for the team they are registered with – any team found guilty of playing the same player for more than one team will be automatically disqualified.
PLEASE SUPPORT THE REFEREE – THEIR DEICISON IS FINAL AND SHOULD NOT BE CONTESTED.
NO DOGS, SMOKING, ALCOHOL OR BBQs ARE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES.
ANY QUESTIONS RELEATING TO ANY RULES, SHOULD BE REFERRED TO THE OFFICIALS IN THE CONTROL TENT.
